Outside Lands Insider Tips, First Time Advice
Hydrate, bring an emtpy water bottle
Bring Chase card for discounts
Have meeting points throughout the day
Sunblock even if overcast/foggy; bring sunglasses
Bring a battery pack (phone will drain taking videos, photos, trying to find a signal)
Poop at home!
Reserve lockers ahead of time (but really not needed if you pack light, efficiently)
Bring layers (wind and fog can quickly change even if clear during the day)
SOMA Stage sound is pretty bad (at least close to the stage)
ETA walking distance is not realistic, expect longer times due to crowds, lines and distractions.
Wear comfortable shoes for lots of walking, especially if you go multiple days.
Take MUNI! It’s free with your wristband
Bring hand sanitizer and extra tissue/TP just in case.

OSL Shuttles
Outside Lands Shuttles are prepaid, r/t 1 & 3-Day passes from the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (downtown SF) and drop off and pick up at the festival’s South Gate.

Middle Dr & Metson Rd aka b/t 33rd & 34th and Lincoln which the closest MUNI stop is 34th and Lincoln
Outside Lands GA+ & VIP Entrance Locations

Since there is no direct path to go North & South of parks, plan ahead as there is bad reception, twists and turns and limited bathrooms in the park.

Food is usually fine but keep in mind clear bag policy. They sometimes may give folks a hard time but usually let people go or just go to another screener.
