San Francisco Bay Area Founder Events, San Jose Silicon Valley
Eddie’s List is a weekly newsletter curating the best events and things to do each week throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley (voted runner-up for best local website by 48 Hills Best of the Bay in 2024 & 2025) with 24,000+ subscribers.
Sign-ups include VC’s, founders, job-seekers, recruiters, event organizers, at least 1 FAANG CEO. It doesn’t contain all or even most events but it does feature some of the best ones out there for those with a discerning eye. Events usually come together within a few days or weeks, so check the monthly calendar for last-minute additions.

Are San Francisco Founder Events Open To The Public?
Some events will be open to the public, some will be invite-only, while others will require one to apply and wait to see if they are accepted (usually limited to founders, industry-specific professionals, investors, immigrants, portfolio companies, members of spaces and entities etc).
Below are venues and organizers that hold popular tech, startup and founder events in the Bay Area (mostly in San Francisco, but will add more based on interest). The venues and organizers are not exclusively tech as they hold a range of events. I do post some events in my weekly newsletter, but I post more in my monthly calendars for paid subscribers, including select conferences, meetups, happy hours, talks and more.
Many other calendars, sources don’t curate events like I do and that makes it hard to figure out what is worth your time, money and effort. Don’t get fooled by third (and fourth) tier VC events.
