“Beer Week 2025 will be a special occasion for the Toronado family. After 38 years, our owner & founder Dave Keene is retiring & selling the business. This marks the end of an era for the generations of beer drinks that have shared their lives with us.
In the Toronado fashion, we plan to celebrate Dave’s innumerable contributions to the world craft beer scene with 10 days of great events, great beer & great people.
Please join us as we regail 38 years of hazy memories & prepare for many more.
As Dave says “it’s the people that make the Toronado” and you are the people.”

There will be an evening with Big Daddy himself on February 10, 6pm to talk about beer, history and fashion.
I have so many questions…
But for now, this place has been the ultimate ‘third space’ for many locals as well as people passing through town looking to have incredible beer and catch up with friends whether at anniversary parties, beer week, burger Tuesdays or just any random day.
Please give privacy and space for people to navigate this time and be sure to tip your bartenders extra well if you are able to.

How To Order A Beer At Toronado

Have your cash in hand before placing your order
If the beer is not on the board, it is not available (read: don’t ask about Pliny the Younger)

On special events, defer to paper menus if told to do so by the board
There are no flights

Tip your bartenders (especially well during this time)

Don’t waive money to get bartenders attention
Don’t waive your hand to get bartenders attention
Place your order all at once, don’t place individual orders one after another
Bring empty glasses to the bar, don’t leave them at your table, especially not at the parklet
Keep the aisles clear - don’t move stools to the end of the side tables.
