Weekly Recommendation
This week’s recommendation is to check out the fried chicken sandwich at Magnolia Brewery on Haight (above photo). It’s changed hands a few times over the years but it’s worth a visit if you haven’t been in a while (or at all).
I stopped in the other day before going to a show at the Deluxe across the street. This particular visit was on a whim as the initial place I was planning on going to had closed for a private event. Their New Zealand WC IPA they had on tap paired great with the sando but the also had 3 guest taps from one of my favorite breweries in Ghost Town (from Oakland).
As of last month, they keep their kitchen open until midnight Thursday-Sunday for all of you who complain that the city lacks late night dining options. Oh, and they also have cocktails now.
