Sonoma County: Where To Meet Single Men, Women In Santa Rosa, Petaluma

Dating In Sonoma County (Santa Rosa, Petaluma & More)

Sonoma is a beautiful place to live but it can be tough dating there due to isolation, demographics, lack of density, limited nightlife options and cost of living.

I grew up in Marin, and although I live in SF these days, I have many clients from Sonoma and make it out there for getaways, wine tasting, viewing fall foliage, mustard season and occasional meals.

As a dating coach, I help men and women navigate dating waters, whether it’s apps, events, hobbies, or approaching people/being approached offline. I take in factors like appearance, availability, biases, social circles, hobbies, and more. I have been covered in the NYT, WSJ, Bumble, and more.

See my other guides here (date nights, apt hunting tips, solo dining, trivia nights, happy hours, where to meet VC’s and more).

Bars, Places, Activities To Meet Men, Women In Sonoma County

Below are specific places to meet single people, what activities are likely to increase your chances of meeting more men and women in Sonoma County.

The list below currently includes: activities, events, bars, restaurants, cafes & more as well as quick overlook on speed dating, dating apps and matchmakers in Sonoma.

One can’t expect to go to a place one-time and meet someone. Dating takes time. It’s as much about making yourself available as it is about gaining life experience, expanding hobbies, having more to draw from (conversations) and leaving the house (getting of apps so you don’t spend too much time on them).

If you are a boring person, or a homebody, this guide is not for you. It takes time, curiosity, and willingness to try new things, go out on your own, talk to strangers, etc.

I will be adding more detail, context and options over time, check back soon.
