Where To Watch Sports In San Francisco
There are many sports bars in San Francisco but the team allegiances are not always obvious.
Some bars have misleading names. Some sports bars have allegiances to colleges (from different cities) than their professional sports city counterparts. Some bars are relatively unknown as they have allegiances to historically bad teams that no one asks to put up on TV’s. Some may only show one sport but not another. Some bars have multiple college fan bases. Some bars have changed ownership and don’t have as strong a following as they did before for their teams. Some bars just don’t make sense.

My teams have all relocated (A’s & Raiders are dead to me, Warriors in SF is just not the same; even my alma mater relocated, somewhat (USC moved to the Big Ten and I don’t get to see them locally anymore once they left the Pac-12).
I appreciate more bars as I am more agnostic and am more particular about beer selection, food choices, ambiance and more.
