For many, Sacramento is an afterthought for those who live in Northern California. It’s a pit stop between the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe.
Sure, it’s hot, but there is a lot of history here and some unique architecture, colorful street art, interesting spaces, and lots of space to walk around. Things are getting more expensive everywhere, but there are some great deals to be had and lots of free things to do if you plan ahead, and are in the know.
I’ll be updating this and other guides in the area as I make more trips out there in the coming months.
