San Francisco has a rich history of comedy culture but after BrainWash in SOMA closed in 2017, new spots have popped up to fill the gap that institution left behind.
Below is a mix of recurring events, venues that host comedy shows on occasion and comedy clubs where you will get big names when in town.
It’s not a complete list but rather a curated list of places worth exploring. It’s rough guide and I will hopefully be adding details/notes with time if people find this useful.
This list is just for San Francisco at the moment but check back often as it will be updated and more locations may be added.
