This is a running list of cities, police departments, counties and related agencies in California that have either voted to end Flock camera contracts, voted no on implementing ALPR cameras or have dismantled cameras in their area.
There are ~117,000 flock cameras in the United States and ~13% can be found in California.

Santa Cruz votes to end Flock contract - January 13, 2026
Canceled flock contracts in Los Altos Hills, Cupertino & Saratoga per 2/24/26 BOS vote.
Los Altos Hills Flock Contract: Discontinued local deployment January 2026
Does not apply to the city of Los Altos (different city)
Mountain View flock cameras turned off after city council vote 2/2/24/26.
Campbell has canceled their contract, using in-house system.
El Cerrito votes to end flock contract 5/6/2026; scheduled full physical removal of its 40 cameras by August 18, 2026
