First Date Wine Bars, New Wine Bars, Wine Bar Restaurants & More San Francisco

I lean toward beer and cocktails more, if you can tell from my past recommendations and coverage. But occasionally, I appreciate a good glass of wine with food or relaxed outings.

I seek recommendations from folks I trust and understand wine bars usually are a bit more inviting than most beer places I love and easier to relax over extended periods of time than cocktail bars I appreciate dearly.

Best Natural Wine Bars San Francisco

Below is one of my more ambitious curated guides with places recommended by various factors, including date nights, restaurants, wine bars with great beer, those with outdoor seating, and more.

I believe there is no ‘best wine bar' but rather subscribe to the idea that some wine bars are better for certain vibes, crowds, and the like.

It’s a rough guide, and like all my guides, I will update it with notes, details, and more context depending on your interest.

Please check with establishments directly as hours, offerings etc can change.
