NYP Holdings Launches California Edition Of The Post
The California Post has launched and in case you are wondering, they are owned by the News Corp, owners of the New York Post. News Corp is controlled by the Murdoch family.
On Monday, they made an announcement via the New York Post in which they promoted their Page Six Hollywood edition and more.

If you are not familiar with the New York Post, they are considered an “American conservative daily tabloid newspaper” according to Wikipedia.

The California Post has already lured two employees from the San Francisco Standard, according to Linkedin as well as the executive editor from the Daily Mail.
They are hiring for positions mostly in Los Angeles with a few in Sacramento and San Francisco.

Why Should You Care About The California Post Launch?
It’s another publication that will compete with eyeballs, namely conservative crowds. Many of them rely on Fox News, NY Post, and the like but having a West Coast home base will allow readers to have a dedicated source for their leanings without all the clutter of the East Coast publication (New York Post) and without all the city/area specific outlets of local markets like KTVU (Fox affiliate San Francisco Bay Area) and Fox 11 Angeles and many others (screenshot from Wikipedia below).
