There is no official St. Patrick’s Day bar crawl despite what promoters say.
The same can be said for other cities, bar crawls. Most use official as a marketing effort. No city has endorsed a bar crawl to my knowledge.
St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl Tickets, Wristbands San Francisco
There are many bar crawls happening throughout the San Francisco Bay Area during St. Patrick’s Day. There will be flyers all over street poles, ads on social media and what not.
You do not need to pay to enter most bars associated with these bar crawls.
You do not need a special wristband to enter most bars on pub crawl lists.
The drink specials offered may be minimal and drinks offered may be for ones you do not want to drink.
Some bars may actually ban folks with wristbands as they can be heavily intoxicated, belligerent and the like.
TL;DR, you can make your own bar crawl, you don’t have to buy wristbands. Follow the crowds. Read reviews on bar crawls before making a purchase.
