Other Curated Guides/Lists
Updated: August 2025 Calendar Of Events (updated regularly w/ more events)
Added: ~Dozen places to target during Burning Man week (8/24-9/1)*
Updated: Places To Dine Outside San Francisco (Added Brunch, Cafes)
Popular: Bay Area Picnic Spots
*Given BM exodus, Labor Day, the city tends to empty out a bit. Last year around this time, I had a conversation with a gentleman at Bean Bag Cafe on Divisadero about who we both viewed this week as our ‘Restaurant Week’. Check out the places I would target this week that many folks don’t even attempt other times of year.

Weekly Recommendation
This week’s recommendation is to go check out and support Thee Parkside, Potrero Hill. You might have seen the recent news about it in Mission Local. Who knows what will happen, but enjoy it while you can. From enjoying a WCIPA from Ghost Town in their back patio to live music, trivia nights, board game nights, movie nights and more, this is one of my favorite spots in the city.
