Weekly Recommendation

Saturday’s protest was amazing, and thank you to all who came out, marched, passed out water, honked your horns in support despite being stuck in traffic and more.

This week’s recommendation is to show up for someone, ideally someone who doesn’t look like you (or don’t have in your friend circle), someone who may be going through things you might not be aware of, or someone who is a part of a group that is overlooked or discriminated against.

Attending large protests is helps to draw attention to sheer numbers but the smaller protests & less visible efforts happening every week are just as important, if not more. Divide and conquer is the strategy regularly to target the most vulnerable groups.

See the volunteer efforts & social justice opportunities above for ways to get involved. Not sure where to start? Send me a note (through the homepage) and I will do my best to help you find opportunities based on your skill sets, available time, or interests.
