Best Places To Read & Write San Francisco
Most of my time is spent on a laptop but there are some occasions where I like to shut down the screen, jot some notes, sketch out some ideas, start lists and do some thinking. In these cases, I value spots that inspire creativity, whether it’s a view, cool interior, interesting crowds, people-watching, or good beverages.
These are a few of my favorite places in San Francisco for reading and writing with a coffee, tea, wine or beer. I will be updating the list over time, so be sure to check back here soon.

Please note, some places are rather busy at night, weekends so use good judgment (and common sense) i.e. don’t go to a bar in North Beach on a Friday or Saturday night. Don’t squat, order regularly, share a table if getting crowded and tip well.
